Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Camp
Dates: August 4â8, 2025, 9 AM to 3 PM
Location: St. Anneâs Episcopal Church Parish House, Annapolis, MD
CYSOâs summer music camp is a five-day program designed for intermediate-level musicians, recommended for ages 10 to 16, who are looking to strengthen their technique, develop ensemble skills, and grow as confident performers.
Camp runs daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with drop-off beginning at 8:45 AM and pickup by 3:15 PM.
Please note: A late pickup fee of $15 will be charged for every 15 minutes after 3:15 PM.
Throughout the week, students will take part in sectionals, full orchestra rehearsals, masterclasses, workshops, and team-building activitiesâall leading up to a final concert showcasing their progress. The camp balances structured musical training with opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and personal growth.
Students will receive coaching and ensemble experience, explore musical expression through movement, and build confidence through solo and group performance opportunities. This program also serves as an introduction to the CYSO community.
