I don’t know about you, but spring feels especially welcome this year! Spring is such a time of promise – the promise of time in the sun, new growth, shaking off the dregs of winter, and the promise that, yes, summer will be here eventually (am I right, teachers?)
The Annapolis Moms Media events calendar has so many options, I can barely keep up!
Here are a few things I am looking forward to this spring:
- The Motherlode, Issue 2 will be released on April 2! We are so excited for you to see what we’ve been working on. This one is BIG! Watch this space because you’ll receive the digital version in place of our usual weekly newsletter next week.
- Something Different for Date Night: I am really excited to attend the Annapolis Film Festival opening night film and party on Thursday, April 4. My husband and I went last year, and it is a date night unlike any other in this area. There is a literal red carpet, and the after-party is a great time of dancing and rubbing elbows with locals and industry pros alike.
- Return of Farmers Markets: My favorite weekend tradition is to swing by the Severna Park Farmers Market every Saturday, and I’m delighted to be able to resume that tradition in a few short weeks on April 27th. Our area is lucky to have so many farmers markets where we can support our farmer neighbors while getting the best quality, seasonal products around. Insider tip: You might read more on this in Issue 2!
- Something New: There’s always room for another cool fest in Annapolis! This year, Maryland Hall is hosting its first ever Naptown Vinyl Record Show. I am excited for this one to expand my very small record collection for the record player we bought during the pandemic!
What are you looking forward to this spring?
