Porchfest Annapolis Returns Oct. 24 With Free Live Music in Murray Hill

Get ready for an afternoon of live music, neighborhood charm, and community fun! Porchfest Annapolis is back for its second year, bringing local musicians and music lovers together on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s free festival is heading to the historic Murray Hill neighborhood, where front porches and stoops will transform into mini concert stages.

Porchfest got its start in Ithaca, New York, in 2007 as a way to bring musicians and neighbors together through a shared love of music. The idea eventually made its way to Annapolis, where the first festival took place June 14, 2025, in the Germantown-Homewood neighborhood. Residents opened their porches, driveways, and stoops to local musicians for 40-minute performances.

Now, Porchfest Annapolis is back and growing! This year’s event will feature more than 30 local musical acts performing on more than 10 porches and stoops throughout Murray Hill.

What to Expect at Porchfest Annapolis

Unlike a traditional music festival, Porchfest brings the performances right into the neighborhood. Visitors can stroll from porch to porch, enjoying live music while exploring the charming streets of Murray Hill. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly way to discover local musicians, connect with neighbors and spend a fall afternoon outdoors.

Best of all, admission is completely free!

A map and musician lineup are available online to help you plan your afternoon. Some of our favorites in the lineup include the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Doug Segree, Madisun Bailey, and many more. Printed maps will also be available on-site during the festival.

Want to Get Involved?

Porchfest Annapolis is a community-powered event, and volunteers help make the magic happen!

If you’re interested in helping out on festival day, there are plenty of ways to lend a hand.

Interested? Fill out the volunteer interest form to get involved.

Good to Know Before You Go

Porchfest is family-friendly, and dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept on leashes. Feel free to bring snacks, drinks or even a picnic, but be sure to clean up after yourself and help keep the neighborhood beautiful.

Visitors are encouraged to walk or bike to the festival. If you’re driving, nearby parking options include Knighton Garage and Park Place Garage.
