🎻 Where musical talent becomes artistry.

For more than three decades, the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra has given young musicians the opportunity to take their music beyond individual practice and experience what it means to learn, rehearse, and perform as part of something greater.

Through eight ensembles, exceptional artistic leadership, master classes, performances, summer programs, and international touring opportunities, CYSO creates an environment where young musicians can refine their skills, explore great orchestral repertoire, and grow in both musicianship and confidence.

But perhaps most importantly, CYSO gives students a community of fellow musicians who share their dedication and love of music.

As a proud Annapolis Moms Community Supporter, CYSO is committed to supporting local families and creating meaningful opportunities for young musicians to discover their passions, develop their talents, and grow together.

From a musician’s first ensemble experience to advanced orchestral performance, there is a place to learn, a place to be challenged, and a place to belong.

The 2026–2027 season is underway, and auditions remain open on a rolling basis.

For families with a young musician ready to take the next step, CYSO offers an opportunity to discover what’s possible through music.

🎶 Excellence in music. Opportunity in every note.
