Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime: A Little Ferry Tale

August 15, 2023 by Kathy Knotts

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3 to 7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.

This Week’s Book: A Little Ferry Tale by Chad Otis

Little Ferry feels like no one notices her. She isn’t strong like Tugboat or fast like Speedboat or graceful like Sailboat, the boats everyone loves to watch. But Little Ferry is special, too! She’s patient and careful and always on time. What happens when disaster flares on Wildlife Island? Will Little Ferry save the day? Join us and find out! Come design your very own boat craft!

Saturday, August 19

10am-11am

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military; advance registration required.

Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street, Annapolis

Register here: https://www.annapolis.org/events/storytime-aug-19-2023/

Please Note: An adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace at the William Paca House & Garden when possible. In the event of inclement weather, the activities will be held inside our conference room. Masks are optional; hand sanitizer is always available, and if you are feeling sick, please stay home. This program does not include snacks due to food allergies; food is not permitted in the garden.
