Lola’s Botanas: Bold Flavors on Wheels

Lola’s Botanas is something of a delicious anomaly—and we mean that in the best way possible. This vibrant, bright pink food truck is hard to miss and even harder to forget. From sweet treats to savory bites, Lola’s serves up an irresistible blend of nostalgia and bold flavor that’s absolutely worth chasing down.

Fresas con Crema Sundae- A strawberry sundae in a clear plastic cup topped with whipped cream, a strawberry, and a wafer.

What’s on the menu? Everything from mango smoothies and nachos to a creative twist on banana splits. But the real star? The Mangonada—a delightfully sweet mango smoothie layered with Chamoy hot sauce, Tajín for a tangy kick, and fresh mango garnish. It’s the perfect refreshment after a hot day and a crowd favorite for good reason. It. Is. Incredible.

Depending on the day, you might find other fruity treats, like cups of freshly sliced mango or juicy orange segments, drizzled with lime juice, a splash of hot sauce, and dusted with Tajín—reminiscent of the classic fruit carts found across Mexico. Other offerings include street corn and crazy cucumbers.

Banana Split- A banana split sundae filled with vanilla and strawberry ice cream topped with a chocolate drizzle, strawberries, wafers, sweet bread, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Arizona Loco- A can of Arizona Tea rimmed with tajin, with a bowl of strawberries and mango attached to the top.

Doritos Nachos- A plastic take-home platter of nachos covered in Doritos, cheese, jalapenos, and hot sauce.

But what truly sets Lola’s Botanas apart isn’t just the menu—it’s the person behind the truck. Owner Alondra Juarez is a determined and talented young woman whose parents were restaurant owners. The full-time student has turned her vision into a flavorful reality and makes every menu item with “lots of love.”

“Lola’s Botanas was born due to my love of food and snacking,” Alondra said. “Inspired by the Mexican culture and the paleterias out west, I decided to take a leap and create my own version of botanas but on wheels. Despite the growing Hispanic population out here, there really is no place in the area to go out and have a Mexican botana. “

Her passion, creativity, and hustle are present in every cup and every bite.

To find out where Lola’s Botanas is popping up next, follow them on Instagram and  Facebook—you won’t want to miss your chance to indulge. Wherever you are in the county, this is one food truck worth the follow.
