- New Year, New Me. Kickstart your 2025 by visiting an apothecary to get you on the right track to meet your wellness goals. Euphoric Herbals Apothecary is a woman- and veteran-owned business located on Main Street in South River Colony offering over 200 bulk herbs and teas, and a smoothie and tea bar inside! They have a passion for ingredients and work with the highest quality suppliers. They source only organic fair-trade herbs whenever possible and require microbiological testing and a Certificate of Analysis from all their suppliers for every ingredient they use in their products. There’s something for anyone who walks through their doors – teas to fight stress and fatigue, provide sleep support and relaxation, detox, support all things surrounding women and men’s health, etc.
- P.S. Mark your calendars for February 8 at 3:00 pm for a hands-on, Healing with Honey Workshop. You can discover the healing properties of honey and its byproducts in a class led by a master beekeeper. Tickets are $25.

- If you’re looking for a no-frills place to watch sports with daily specials, look no further than good ol’ Glory Days Grill in Edgewater. With plenty of TVs on display, your kids can enjoy cartoons while you watch the playoffs. My favorite days are Endless Boneless Tuesdays for $11.99 and Fish Fry Fridays (wild, line-caught Haddock, beer battered with Stella Artois, served with coleslaw, seasoned fries, and tarter sauce) for $11.99.
- P.S. If you’re a first-time customer, they will surprise you with a free appetizer sampler!
- It’s soup season! Warm up with a bowl of Cream of Crab Soup at Edgewater Restaurant. This family-friendly restaurant has been a local staple since 1948, serving up arguably the best crabcakes and cream of crab soup in the area. Delicious food at a great value AND friendly staff – if you haven’t visited yet, you’re definitely missing out!
- P.S. They have a salad bar!
