Want to step out of the box with your dining options in 2024? Start now by grabbing some friends and heading to Jongro KBBQ, located at the Annapolis Mall. KBBQ = Korean Barbeque! You and your friends will be seated at a table with a grill in the middle, where you cook (most of) your food yourself! For $22.99/person for lunch or $32.99/per person for dinner, it’s AYCE (All You Can Eat) pork, beef, chicken, seafood (only for dinner), and sides. If you have never had Korean food before, order the spicy beef bulgogi (or if you don’t like spicy, the soy garlic beef bulgogi) – you won’t be disappointed! Kids under 3’are free and kids 3’ to 4’7” are ½ price.
New Eastport eatery, Adam’s on Fourth, opened last month and has been a refreshing, modern addition to the Eastport neighborhood. Yes, same Adam’s owners, but different concept. Check out the atmosphere for yourself – while you’re there, be sure to try their 4th Street Nachos and tried-and-true Adam’s ribs. There are even kids’ meals on the menu – all $10 and under (includes fries AND a drink).
Annapolis has its first gaming café: Boardem is located inside Club Vibe and has over 200 games for all ages. Open all day for gaming and food and drinks, there are games from Darwin’s Journey (one of the top board games of 2023), Dungeons and Dragons – Tomb of Annihilation, Forest Shuffle, Hunt a Killer (9 versions!), and even good ol’ Monopoly.
The first rule of wine club is you do not talk about wine club! Just kidding…on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (that’s today!), join Curate’s wine club for food, community, and new wines. You don’t have to be enrolled into their official wine club to join in on the fun – it’s $30 for wine club members and $40 for non-wine club members. Want to join wine club for that sweet discount and other perks? Register here!
On January 26 and 27, Curate is also offering their winter multi-course, wine-paired dinner, brought to you by Chef Georges Labaki, active-duty Navy and recent winner of Chopped. It’s $110 for wine club members and $130 for non-wine club members.
