Start the year off drinking green through Rasa Juice’s Green January Program. Drink one green drink a day for the month of January and feel supercharged for 2024. You can also tackle the month, week-by-week.
Doing a dry January? Check out True Food Kitchen’s zero proof cocktails – like the What’s Up Doc?! (Clean & Co. tequila, carrot, orange, jalapeno, and mint) and Fauxjito (Lyre’s Cane spirit, mint, basil, and lime).
If eating more veggies is in your #newyearnewme plans, try out some delicious flavor combos at local favorite, Preserve. Preserve has lots of vegetarian and vegan options on their menu, like their golden beets, kabocha squash, king mushroom mole sammie, and vegan pot de crème dessert.
Rutabaga is a cruciferous root veggie. It is also a juicery and eatery in Annapolis, serving smoothie bowls; smoothie blends; and open-faced, hearty toasts. My personal favorite go-to is the PB&J bowl – in the mix is acai, blueberry, banana, peanut butter, and house made cashew milk + granola, banana, blueberry, and cacao nibs on the top. Eating fresh, on the go is feasible!
