- Dragons don’t just love tacos… they love toffee too! Two days remain to support the 2nd Annual Love Your Library Month. In collaboration with Always Ice Cream Company, Anne Arundel County Public Library staff created a bunch of fun ice cream flavors and name ideas, and the public voted. Order the winning Dragons Love Toffee ice cream (caramel ice cream with toffee bits and chocolate chips), and a portion of your order will be donated to support the library!
- S.O.B. can stand for many things, but in Annapolis, it’s Sailor Oyster Bar. S.O.B. opened in 2016 as a restaurant “without a kitchen,” serving oysters, crudo, tinned fish, charcuterie, and seasonal produce. Unfortunately, they closed in 2022 due to a devastating fire… until yesterday! So, head downtown and give them a big Annapolitan, “Welcome back!” P.S. Don’t Give Up The Ship!
- Mark your calendars for next Saturday, March 9! Start your Saturday morning at Graduate Annapolis’ Trophy Room with a drag show brunch featuring Annapolis’ favorite queens. Brunch is from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., with performances starting at noon. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door – a portion of ticket sales will benefit Annapolis Pride. Parking is also free with validation.
- Peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, grilled cheese and tomato soup… oh, and pizza and wine! Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 9:30 p.m., Luna Blu offers their pizza and wine pairing menu. Try their Genovese pizza made with homemade pesto, ricotta mozzarella, and mushrooms, paired with Mohua Sauvignon Blanc, or their Figura pizza made with dried figs, crispy pancetta, goat cheese, and balsamic glaze, paired with Chemistry Pinot Noir. They have vegetarian options and gluten-free crust available. All pizzas are 12” and hand-tossed to order!
