- Grab a scone and a business partner and join Bread and Butter Kitchen in their expanded coworking space in Eastport. In addition to comfortable seating configurations and walls decorated with artwork from local artists, you can now reserve this semi-private room. It’s equipped with a TV for screen sharing and a whiteboard. Plus, you can enjoy food during your meeting by taking advantage of their easy and convenient catering – all you have to do is show up! Bread and Butter Kitchen’s rotating menu features seasonal ingredients from local farmers and makers. They offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan all-day breakfast and lunch options, and are always happy to customize meals to meet any dietary needs. Their Salsa de Huevos (two eggs scrambled in homemade salsa, refried beans, and corn tortillas), Chicken Cheesesteak (shaved lemon pepper chicken, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and hots on a fresh sub roll), Banh Mi Burger (ground turkey seasoned with lemongrass, chili paste, and garlic topped with pickled carrots, jalapeno, cilantro, cucumber, and sriracha mayo), and Harvest Salad (romaine, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, roasted sweet potato, red onion, and feta) are delicious!

- Here’s the scoop: Legend has it that the candy cane dates back to 1670! A choirmaster in Germany allegedly handed out sugar sticks among his young singers to keep them quiet during the Christmas Eve mass. The great news is that Always Ice Cream has it in soft-serve ice cream form at its Crofton and Edgewater locations! Be sure to try last year’s most popular flavor, Christmas Tree Ice Cream (vanilla base with marshmallow swirl and Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes mixed in).
- The holiday lights are shining bright and the Elf on the Shelf is helping keep the kids in check this month. The only thing missing is good food! - Join Garten every Friday from 6:30 pm to close for Ski Apres on the patio featuring DJ Crawdad. Garten staff will be wearing their best slope gear, and you should too. This includes goggles and puffy jackets – the complete work to create those sweet slope vibes by the fire. Pair those vibes with hot cocktails, s’mores, special drinks, and lots more accompanied by DJ Crawdad’s spinning vinyl to put you in a cozy wintry mood.
- Reynold Tavern’s afternoon tea service is getting festive! Try their new item on the menu, Christmas Tea with special first-course offerings followed by Afternoon Tea Service. First course options include a Poached Pear (whole poached pear with Gorgonzola crumbles, toasted walnuts, and fresh rosemary, in a cinnamon-rosemary reduction), Shrimp Risotto (house risotto made with coconut cream, chimichurri, and parmesan), Butternut Squash and Sage Quiche (house quiche with oven-roasted butternut squash, fresh sage, caramelized onion, and feta cheese), and a Petite Holiday Salad (mixed greens, mandarin orange, sugared cranberries, Gorgonzola cheese, candied pecans, with a champagne vinaigrette).
- Red Red Wine Bar + Bistro in Downtown Annapolis has transformed into the Red Red Jingle Bell Bar! Decked out in lavish holiday décor with an Elfie Station to take photos, this bar is a must-visit, especially during Midnight Madness on Thursday evenings.
- The No Peeking Envelope Challenge is now underway at The Point Crab House and Grill in Arnold! From now until December 31, dine in and receive a red envelope with your meal (one per table, per visit). Don’t open the envelope! Bring it back unopened from January 1 to February 28 to receive a secret prize. It could be a Black Stone Flat Top Grill with accessories or 5% to 50% off your check. Everyone’s envelope is a winner-winner chicken dinner!
- BD Provisions in Severna Park kicked off their Twelve Days of Christmas Sales this week! Stop by to shop your favorite products at a discounted price. For example, tomorrow is buy any dog accessory and get a free 1/4 lb of dog treats; December 13 is buy three baked good mixes, get an extra for free; December 16 is buy 1 lb of peppermint tea and get ¼ lb for free. - Curate in Downtown Annapolis launched their holiday offerings! Try their coffee specials like their Fresh Mint Mocha, Citrus Ginger Snap Latte, Eggnog Latte, and Nutcracker Tea Latte. Need a non-coffee option? They offer a rich and creamy Hot Chocolate topped with whipped cream, Roobios Nutcracker Tea, and more!
- Santa is stopping by not once but TWICE at Double T Diner in Annapolis and will travel table to table on December 17 and 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- Santa is also making a pit stop at Lures Bar and Grill in Crownsville on December 15 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lures will also have Christmas cocktails and brews for the grown-ups.
- Santa also loves brunch! Reserve your tickets for Saturday, December 14 at Mucho Gusto in Gambrills to share your wishlist and brunch with Santa. Tickets are $20 for kids and include brunch, beverages, and a cookie to decorate. Adult tickets are $32 and include brunch and a Mimosa or Bellini.
