Seeking experienced bakers OR individuals motivated to learn scratch-baking under a seasoned Head Baker in a long-running, well-established, veteran-owned Great Harvest Bakery in West Annapolis. The Assistant Baker works both independently and in a team setting, producing top-quality specialty breads and sweets.
Job Qualifications
Initial training under the Head Baker occurs during night shift hours. Initial training is considered complete once candidate is able to produce needed inventory independently and, if desired, shift hours can then be re-negotiated-- including to daytime hours. Experience in commercial, stratch-baking is a PLUS, but not required.
Job Requirements
We are seeking individuals who are able to take direction, ask questions, learn Baker's Math, and move efficiently into independent production. Applicants must have access to transportation to/from Work, be reliable and punctual, and communicate effectively with coworkers.
