Grandparents hold a special place in the hearts of families. From passing down old traditions to making new ones, there’s no better way to spend time with the ones you love than through celebration. As part of the Fall Festival, Greenstreet Gardens, located in Southern Maryland, is hosting a Grandparents weekend on September 28 and 29!
Celebrate love, tradition, and family and create new memories with a multitude of fun fall festivities!
Spanning over six acres, the corn maze provides a perfect journey for family members of all ages. This Peanuts- and-Snoopy-themed maze will have you saying, “good grief”! After escaping the maze, head over for face and hair painting to truly become one with the fall. Immerse yourself in the farm feel by feeding the animals, a fan favorite for families! The little ones can enjoy the jumping pillow, underground slide, and tire playground, while the older ones refresh and recharge. Take a hay ride on the cow train, weaving through the fall fields, leading to the most classical fall festival tradition of all: pumpkin picking at the pumpkin patch!
General admission prices are $17, with a discounted $15 for active duty and retired military. Senior citizens will pay a $15 admissions fee, while children two and under are free to enter. The purchase of one children’s admission ticket will come with one free grandparent’s ticket. The Fall Fest will take place every weekend through November 3.
Greenstreet Gardens will host several other special events throughout the fall. Dazed in the Maze will happen on October 18, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The grounds will host an exciting, exploratory, and delicious drink-filled evening for you and your buddies to explore the exciting corn maze adventure, where there are surprises around every corner! Another offering for groups is Bonfire Night! Reserve the field for a family, group, or business event filled with a night of smores, mazes, fires, and more!
