February In The Stars ParentScope: Message for the Parents Always on the Go

February 4, 2025 by Heather Greenwell

There are days when the world feels like an overly chaotic place. Life feels messy and even nature is unpredictable. So why do you expect yourself to have all the answers?

Being overly hard on yourself is an abuse of power.

Instead of putting so much pressure on ourselves to have it all together, remember that the human body was not designed to function 24/7. Every one of us performs meaningful work, but our self-worth is not tied to our productivity.

To the parent on the go, make sure that February is when you focus on the things that bring you peace and nourish your soul. Forget your worries for a little while. Disconnect. When you let things go and allow things to exist as they are, things around you will fall into place.

Message:

There is a sweet and gentle joy to manifesting the things you want in your life. When you delight in what you receive, openly embrace it, and are happy with it, the Universe is fully received by you. Sometimes we become so swept up in the momentum of habitual consciousness that we forget to take a moment to stop, breathe, and be still.

Energy is going out of you, but there’s not enough coming back in. The earth resets each night so that it can greet the sun again each morning. In a culture that breeds over-productivity instead of stillness, allow yourself to turn off all distractions, step away, and just spend time alone for a little while.

Finding your center requires you to create a space where you and the joy of life can co-exist. Energy flows freely when there is a spiritual exchange between you and life. From a place of nourishment, you can more effortlessly create, live, and love with greater passion. You will return to being more efficient and effective.

Affirmation:

I allow myself to openly embrace and love my life. What may be going on around me is important, but so is my inner peace. I understand that rest and activity, balance, feed and nourish each other. This means that I allow myself to release any guilt or shame associated with rest being wasteful or unnecessary. There is sacred healing that occurs when I allow myself to rest and reset.

Important informatio

Important information below for parents from our community supporter SP Docs regarding the recent Cyclospora outbreak:

Cyclospora: What Parents Should Know
We’d like to share some important information regarding a significant Cyclospora outbreak currently affecting Michigan and other states. While Maryland has not yet seen a similar surge, it is advisable to take precautions.

Cyclospora is a parasite that causes diarrhea, cramps, nausea, and fatigue. Due to its spherical nature, it can survive soap and water but is killed by heat. To reduce the risk of infection, please consider these guidelines:

Scrub Produce: Use a brush and significant running water to clean firm fruits and vegetables.
Berries & Leafy Greens: Berries should ideally be cooked. For lettuce, remove outer leaves and rinse the remaining head thoroughly.
Pre-cut Fruit: It is recommended to avoid purchasing pre-cut fruit at this time.

If your child develops symptoms, keep them hydrated and contact your pediatrician - especially if symptoms persist or you notice signs of dehydration.

At SPDocs, we believe informed parents make empowered decisions for their families. If you’re looking for a pediatrician who combines thoughtful guidance with personalized care, we’d love to welcome your family. Contact SPDocs to learn more.
