- Pedestrian in Wheelchair Struck in Annapolis, Flown to Shock Trauma
A pedestrian in a wheelchair was struck by a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. at Bay Ridge Avenue and Monroe Street near the Eastport Shopping Center and was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Annapolis Police later said the victim was in a wheelchair at the time of the incident and was reported to be in stable condition as the investigation continued.

A 38-year-old Annapolis man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges including coercion and enticement of minors and receipt of child sexual abuse material. Federal prosecutors allege he used multiple Snapchat accounts to communicate with minor girls and paid victims through Cash App and Venmo in exchange for sexually explicit images, with investigators identifying at least 5 victims between the ages of 15 and 16 across the United States.

Augie’s Mussel House & Sports Bar is now open at Annapolis Town Center, bringing a Belgian-inspired menu, craft beer selection, and sports bar atmosphere to 1915 Towne Centre Blvd. The new Annapolis restaurant, expanding from its original Alexandria location, features mussels in a variety of flavors, Belgian pub fare, cocktails, wine, and a game-day setup with large-screen TVs, dartboards, arcade games, and group seating.
