The Hollow Truths have been distilling their sound over hundreds of shows and multiple releases. The band self-describes their sound as ‘modern 90s’. They have a focus on storytelling and emphasis on the pop elements of alt-rock. Additionally, they often draw comparisons to many bands of that era. Singer/songwriter Brett Buehler says he finds inspiration for lyrics in “books, habits, relationships, & Taco Bell.” Based out of Baltimore, MD, the band continues to play at venues on the east coast and beyond. In 2022, the band made it as far as 6th St in Austin, TX for SXSW. Local radio station WTMD states, “They are rock you can relate to, offering honest storytelling over crunchy jams.”
Will Sims is a Baltimore based singer and songwriter. He’s been playing in the local scene for over 10 years. Furthermore, his blend of rock, alternative, and pop influences have allowed him to write a variety of songs from beautiful ballads, to energetic singalongs, to stadium rock anthems. His writing focuses on many universal themes including romantic and social relationships, difficulties faced in our modern society, and uplifting, hopeful tunes.
Brothers Clair is a group that was raised with varying musical influences, bringing together a rough blend of eclectic melodies and a pounding rhythm.
