The Allman Others Band (AOB) is Washington DC’s premier tribute to the legendary Allman Brothers. They recreate the magic of classic Fillmore East, Watkins Glen, and other ABB concerts every time they take the stage. Comprised of some of Washington’s finest local musicians, AOB’s performances are filled with familiar faces, classic tunes, and delightful surprises. They’re all driven by the irresistible groove and funky extended jams reminiscent of the original band’s iconic shows.
The band’s lineup is a testament to musical excellence, featuring passionate vocalist Doug Hartnett. The guitarist, Erik Richardson, brings his versatile multi-instrumental talent and lifelong inspiration from Duane Allman and Jerry Garcia. The seasoned drumming of Coleman O’Donoghue, the blues and jazz funk keyboard stylings of Lee Feinberg, and the dynamic harmonica work of Sandy Scott further enhance their sound. There’s lan Sultan’s distinctive bass groove and Tom Helf’s steady presence on drums. Finally, Dave Reuben’s captivating guitar riffs round out this powerhouse ensemble.
