Join us for a special storytime with local author Racine Smith Williams! She’ll be reading her book, Upside Down is Right Side Up.
What happens when a girl is allowed to follow her passion, even if it means not always seeing things as others do? For PJ, there’s clearly nothing wrong with walking on your hands while grocery shopping, although her mother thinks feet are best for that kind of activity. Upside Down is Right Side Up is a fun look at the world of a 9-year-old girl, PJ, who enters an unfamiliar place that has new rules, new roles, and where few things are ever right side up! What unfolds is a love for gymnastics and deeper respect for differences.
After story time, explore the Museum of Historic Annapolis on your own with a scavenger hunt!
