Summer Concert Series: Moxie Blues

Don’t miss out on the Moxie Blues Band at Quiet Waters Park! The Moxie Blues Band consists of six seasoned musicians bringing a wide range of blues and blues rock (with a touch of Southern rock) to the DMV area. For them, it’s all about the feel of the music for themselves and their audience. After a gig, the best compliment they can get is when someone asks “Where you guys playing at next?”
A couple of things to note about the summer concert featuring Moxie Blues:
- Admission to the park is free during the evenings of the scheduled concerts.
- Plan to arrive early, as parking tends to fill up fast.
- Make sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
- Remember not to park on the grass unless instructed by park staff.
- If you are bringing a pet, note that all pets must be on a leash.
- No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.
- Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event at various food trucks. The food trucks Smash Up Burger and Kona Ice will be there on August 10. Vendors will be on the right as you face the stage.
- Friends of Quiet Waters Park is sponsoring this concert.
- Make sure to visit the Friends Table on your left as you face the stage where you can purchase raffle tickets or join the Friends.
- Make sure to purchase some raffle tickets! All proceeds benefit the Friends of Quiet Waters Park and the work they do to support the park.
