Don’t miss out on Avenue 66 at Quiet Waters Park! Avenue 66 is a 10-piece variety cover band from varying races, age groups, and diverse musical backgrounds. They’re much like your family, friends, and patrons at your events. In the band, we have information technology experts, current and ex-military special bandsmen, and music teachers. We also have college students and employees from various governments and civilian organizations. Avenue 66 performs memorable music in different genres such as jazz, R&B, pop, today’s country, rock, Latin, alternative, and reggae. This musical ensemble performs a diverse repertoire of famous artists including Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bob Marley, Santana, Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Motown, Whitney Houston, Tower of Power, Journey, Taylor Swift, Chicago, Bob Seger, and more. Avenue 66 is a Diverse Musician Organization (DMO).
A couple of things to note about the summer concert featuring Avenue 66:
- Admission to the park is free during the evenings of the scheduled concerts.
- Plan to arrive early, as parking tends to fill up fast.
- Make sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
- Remember not to park on the grass unless instructed by park staff.
- If you are bringing a pet, note that all pets must be on a leash.
- No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.
- Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event at various food trucks. The food trucks PKG and Kona Ice will be there on August 3. Vendors will be on the right as you face the stage.
- Friends of Quiet Waters Park is sponsoring this concert.
- Make sure to visit the Friends Table on your left as you face the stage where you can purchase raffle tickets or join the Friends.
- Make sure to purchase some raffle tickets! All proceeds benefit the Friends of Quiet Waters Park and the work they do to support the park.
