Don’t miss the Annual Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race Watch aboard the 74-foot, Schooner Woodwind II!
Join in the excitement and watch the start of the 130-mile race from Annapolis to Norfolk. There could be as many as 25 schooners at the starting line (maybe more!). Some of them are 100+ feet. This is going to be an incredible way to see these boats and is always a ton of fun! The first start for the race is around 12:15 pm and we will cheer them on ’till it’s time to go in.
We will be under sail with the schooners (and yes you’ll be sailing on one too). We will not cross the starting line, but we will be sailing around them as they come down from Baltimore just below the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Tickets are $142 per guest and includes a boxed lunch, bottled water, and soft drinks. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
This event departs from the Annapolis City Marina promptly at 11:00 am. The boat cannot wait for late arrivals and no refunds will be given if you miss the boat.

- $10 of each ticket purchased will be donated to the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race, a non-profit organization that races to save the Bay with educational programs up and down the Chesapeake Bay.
