Annapolis Jazz & Roots is excited to bring Rumba Club to Pip Moyer Recreation Center! Whether you love listening or dancing to Latin Jazz and salsa, you won’t want to miss this free event.
Rumba Club has been hugely popular for more than three decades. This East Coast ensemble has performed, recorded, and toured extensively with jazz and Latin greats. These greats include Tito Puente, Lionel Hampton, and Monguito Santamaria. Each of their four recordings on the prestigious Palmetto record label was produced by late Latin Jazz luminary, Andy Gonzalez of Fort Apache Band fame. Their work has been lauded in international press such as DownBeat, Jazz Times, Washington Post, Latin Beat, and La Press.
