Remembering the Soul of Persia: Music of the People
The Soul of Persia is presented by local and Canadian vocalist and exquisite musicians performing the traditional instruments, ney, taar, santour, tombak,daf and percussion. Remembering the ancient history shaped by the meeting of diverse peoples, cultures and traditions, the performance will take the audience across the vast cultural landscape of greater Iran. The audience will experience living reflections of the deep historical connections filled with vitality and color that unite the people through classical, traditional, and folk music.
