Open Auditions for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

FreeThe Colonial Players is looking for performers for an upcoming play: “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”.
All roles are open and non-paying. The show requires 10-12 performers.
To be considered for a role, auditioners must provide proof of vaccination.
Show Synopsis:
At 7 minutes after midnight, 15-year-old Christopher Boone stands beside his neighbor’s dead dog, Wellington, who has been speared with a garden fork. Finding himself under suspicion, Christopher is determined to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington, and he carefully records each fact of the crime. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a thrilling journey that upturns his world. Based on the novel by Mark Haddon, and adapted by Simon Stephens, this Tony Award winning play is a beautiful, eloquent, dazzlingly inventive show about the wonders of life.
Performance Dates: April 26 – May 18, 2024.
The Colonial Players, Inc. is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer community theater with an open casting policy. All auditions are open to the public and no roles are pre-cast. All roles are non-paying. Auditions are held in our Annex at 2132 Renard Court (off General’s Highway near the Annapolis Mall) unless otherwise noted. All performances are held at 108 East Street, just off State Circle, in historic Annapolis. The Colonial Players welcomes actors and other volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels.
