The history of the City of Annapolis and the United States Navy and Naval Academy have been intertwined for centuries. Each year we celebrate our continued partnership. The USNA is an integral part of the City’s character and charm. The traditions of the Naval Academy and Marine Corps run deep in Annapolis.
Annually, the City of Annapolis and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership recognizes the economic, cultural, and historical assets the USNA brings to and shares with Annapolis on its birthday. We are thankful for all the midshipmen do for the Annapolis community while attending the Academy.
