West Coast Swing Workshop with WCS Champion ERICA SMITH!
SAVE THE DATE….Yes, the dance diva of DC is coming to the Davidsonville Dance Club! We are so happy and excited about our up-and-coming July 9th West Coast Swing workshop with the one and only ERICA SMITH! Make your plans and get yourself registered. (LIMITED to 18 Leaders and 18 Followers)
ERICA SMITH is an extremely versatile dancer from the Washington, D.C. area with extensive backgrounds in West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, and Ballet. Erica is a World Professional Triple Threat Champion (West Coast Swing, Salsa, and Hustle), and an accomplished All-Star & Champions level West Coast Swing competitor. She is very passionate about sharing her love of dance with her partners and students. As a top competitor and 13-time Top Teacher recipient, Erica is a highly sought-after WCS dancer and instructor/coach who guarantees to leave an impression on her audiences and her students. In addition to her personal competitive dance accomplishments, Erica is the long-time Director of the DC chapter of the internationally franchised West Coast Swing performance group, JT Swing Team. Also, Erica currently is a board member for the prestigious Open Swing Dance Championships; the crown jewel of Swing dance events in the world.

LEVEL: NOVICE/INTERMEDIATE
(Singles and Couples. NO PARTNER IS NEEDED. We will focus on maintaining a balance between leaders and followers. Rotating is optional but encouraged.)
COST: $45pp members and $50pp non-members.
Note: (Pre-registration is required) (LIMITED to 18 leaders and 18 followers) Payment methods for this event will be as follows: Cash, Check, Zelle, Pay Pal, Venmo, or credit card (plus a 2.75% processing fee on credit cards).

FOOD TABLE
The food table is available for you to bring your favorite snacks to share. It’s nice to have a little snack after a few good dances. There are sodas and water in the ‘fridge for 50 cents per each. We use the honor system of payment. Just place the money in the dish that’s also in the ‘fridge.
VOLUNTEER CLOSING HELP: Help with putting chairs and tables away at the end of the dance is always appreciated and needed. It takes only about 10 minutes. So, if you can and don’t mind helping out we will surely appreciate it. Thank you in advance for this important and gracious consideration.

DANCE CLASS FEE:
Classes are available for members only. Yearly membership is $10 and can be paid at registration for a class, if not already paid.
Classes are a series of eight weeks featuring 2-hour weekly sessions. Two dances are taught during the series period. (One hour per dance each week)
The class fee is $100 for an entire 8-week 2-dance series. (That’s 16 hours of classes @ $6.25 per class. Membership not included.)
*TUESDAYS: Social Ballroom/Latin Dancing & More for “Partnered Couples Only”
(LEVEL: Partner dance experience required Adv-Beginner to Int/Adv. Because partners do not rotate in this class, mixed skill levels can co-exist easily. Lots of personal instructor attention is available)

Annual Membership is only $10 and is dated by the calendar year. The fee is not prorated. Annual membership is required for class participants and individuals who take private lessons with DDC-contracted instructors at Ford Hall. Membership may be issued or renewed during registration for a class, workshop, or private lesson, or when attending a Saturday dance, or by sending a check and a completed membership form to Davidsonville Dance Club, P.O.
