Mark your calendars for the highest soaring fireworks display in Maryland, the Middle River Fireworks Extravaganza! Get your boat anchored up early to be ready for a spectacular show! The fireworks will start around 9:30 pm, and the barges will be anchored just outside the six-knot zone in Middle River.
The Fireworks Extravaganza has no rain date! All fireworks must be discharged before the barges can return to shore overnight. The starting time may change depending on weather conditions.
Please be safe boaters! Make sure to:
- Stay out of the restricted area around the firework barges
- Be aware of any potential weather threats
- Be courteous of others and use your best judgement
For those that plan to watch from land, the show can be enjoyed from residential properties, marinas, yacht clubs, and other waterfront establishments surrounding the barges in Middle River.
