Maryland Day Liberty Tree Kickoff Event

On March 25, join Historic Annapolis and the Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area at the William Paca House & Garden. We’ll plant a seedling grown from the only surviving genetically identical Liberty Tree scion in the United States. It descends from Maryland’s original 1775 Liberty Tree in Annapolis. The first to be planted as part of this 250th initiative, by the end of this historic Semi-Q year, a Liberty Tree will be planted in each of Maryland’s 23 counties and Baltimore City.
