Maryland Day at Maryland Hall

FreeCelebrating Indigenous artists of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland Hall’s Maryland Day program will highlight the
state and practices of Indigenous arts and crafts in and around Maryland and bring attention to the neglected history of Indigenous people in our region.
The agenda includes: Indigenous Arts and Crafts, Cultural Dance Performance and a Q/A Discussion. Learn from Ayanna Proctor (Piscataway and Susquehannock) presenting traditional items, Louis Campbell (Lumbee), a revered dancer and regalia creator in the Baltimore region, and Bico Newman (Choptico Band of Indians, Piscataway Conov Tribe).
