Climbing for Fitness
Don’t miss Climbing for Fitness! This six-week program aims to provide an introduction to rock climbing. It’ll include the basics of the sport with a focus on history, gear, belay skills, and basic climbing skills. This will be an opportunity to use climbing as another avenue for your fitness routine. We’ll incorporate specific climbing related stretching and yoga warm ups and engage with specific climbing routes and movement on the climbing wall for a full body workout. Each 60 minute class will be followed by 30 minutes of free climbing with coaching from our staff.
This program will take place at the “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center with Annapolis Recreation & Parks.
