Gifts from the Arts
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is a roving band of intrepid artists. Their mission is to support and promote the original art of southern Anne Arundel County artists. Immerse yourself in this professional art gallery experience, featuring a wide variety of media, including painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, glass, woodworks, and more. The show provides a great opportunity to engage with local artists, as well as shop for unique artworks and gift items. Holidays are also a time for giving. Purchase a raffle ticket to win a free piece of art! This money goes directly to the art teachers of South County public schools.
Gifts from the Arts will also have a DIY art session, “Studio Intrepid”, on Dec 7, 8 (Sat, Sun) and Dec 14 (Sun) from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. Bring your kids, a friend, or just yourself and create your own work of art to take home with you!
But wait, there’s more! Join us for a wine and cheese “Meet the Artists” reception on Saturday, Dec 7 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, where there will be live music by Rich Hayward, light refreshments, and a chance to meet and talk to the artists and browse some cool art. It’s a fun way to spend an evening!
