Each film in the Fall Film Series will be introduced by area cinephile Ann Glenn. In her introduction, she’ll include info about the film’s production, director, and stars followed by a Q&A session.
This week’s movie is Sweet Smell of Success! This fast paced film noir shows the darker side of big city journalism and the corrupting effects of celebrity culture. While not a success upon it’s initial release, the film today is recognized as one of the best of the decade.
Sweet Smell of Success is not rated and is one hour and 36 minutes long.
The Fall Film Series takes place at the Busch Annapolis Library in the Campbell-Chambliss Community Meeting Room.
