Fall Classics: A Concert for Peace

Live Arts Maryland opens the season with music that explores peace, compassion, and our shared humanity. Karl Jenkins composed The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. It’s a response to the tragedies of war, creating one of the most compelling choral works of the past quarter century. Blending the traditional Mass with poetry and texts from many cultures and faiths, the work traces a journey from conflict to hope and reconciliation.
