Don’t miss the Eternal Winter 6-Hour Run! This is a twin race to the Annapolis Striders Endless Summer 6-Hour Run. It’s a “fat-ass” style race that happens in January to benefit the Annapolis Light House Shelter of Maryland.
By definition, “FAT ASS” is the name to a series of low key runs that are frequented by experienced runners and walkers and characterized by the phrase, “No Fees, No Awards, No Aid, No Wimps.” Because the runs are not races in any sense, there is no guarantee of anything other than a course to run. There are no course marshals, and no course markers, and you should not expect any aid either. They are an exercise in self-help.
Registration Instructions
This registration has two parts:
1) Print, complete, and bring the registration form to race on race day. Race-day registration is from 7:00 am – 8:00 am on race day at the event.
2) In addition, bring a donation of $25 (checks made payable to The Light House) or bring at least five (5) Urgent Needs items.
We appreciate any additional donations to The Light House.
Please, no expired, opened, or damaged items. Plastic containers preferred over glass when possible.
The Eternal Winter 6-Hour Run will happen at the Greenbury Point Nature Center.
