Have your little ones enter the Severna Park Decorated Bike Contest for some great prizes! Children are encouraged to enter the contest and decorate their bikes, tricycles, and wagons. On the Fourth of July at 9:15 am, the kids will meet at the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce for games, fun, and the selection of the winners. First, second, and third place will be awarded in three different categories. These categories include, “Most Original”, “Most Beautiful”, and “Most Patriotic”.
All children who participate in the Decorated Bike Contest will ride in the parade. The children will enter the parade at Riggs Avenue as a group, and the winners of the contest lead off. Older children enter first and the youngest enter last. The bikes will turn right onto B&A Blvd and proceed towards Cypress Creek Road. They’ll then turn left into Sunrise Independent and Assisted Living and into a designated parking area for children. Parents should accompany their children or be on hand at Sunrise to pick them up after they complete the parade route.
Bike helmets are required! Please register here in advance.
