Compass Rose Theater: Summer camp Registration Open – Welcome to Theater

In this introductory camp, students will explore character creation and storytelling which is at the heart of acting for the stage. They will experience a wide variety of activities focused on introducing basic theater concepts such as ensemble, actor’s tools, sharing the stage, dialogue, and action! This class introduces the young actor to a variety of techniques within the world of theater.
Your kids take the stage with Compass Rose Theater, Maryland’s best theater summer camp this summer. Ages 5-14. Weeks include: Welcome to Theater, Improvisation, Fairytales Onstage, Theater Boot Camp, Play Production, and Create a Play. Highly qualified teaching artists lead our camps to provide the opportunity to experience the joy of storytelling through the art of collaboration.
