Chesapeake Rovers and Chesapeake Childrens Museum at the VC!
The Annapolis Visitors Center will be hosting the Chesapeake Gateways Roving Rangers on August 13th – 14th! The Chesapeake Gateways Roving Ranger is a mobile visitor contact station that brings National Park Service energy, storytelling, and discovery straight to the community! We will be featuring their Junior Ranger, Junior Angler and Bark Ranger programs along with education about wildlife, local parks and more. Visitors can stop by the pop‑up Ranger station at the Visitors Center for informal, hands‑on opportunities to learn more about the Chesapeake Bay watershed and the incredible natural and cultural resources that make this region so special. Their team of seasonal park rangers and interpretation ambassadors will provide engaging activities, conversation, and a chance to explore a rotating selection of programs and materials. Chesapeake Childrens museum will have education and activities around the nature of the Chesapeake Bay and our area. Kona Ice will be here from 1-3 both days.
