Burgers and Bands for Suicide Prevention

Burgers and Bands is an annual fundraiser for suicide prevention. It’s a community event, a party, and a wildly fun time. But most importantly it is an event with a purpose, to show people in Severna Park, no matter what your age, you are not alone. There is help, there is hope, there are people who will step up, there are resources. #youarenotalone
The money raised at this event goes back into the schools and community for mental health initiatives. To date, Burgers and Bands for Suicide Prevention, a local nonprofit, has provided peace walks, sensory walks, calming boxes, support groups, mental health training, mindfulness classes, and speakers for elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Anne Arundel County.
