Art Night: There Was a Party for Langston

Make art inspired by a picture book! We’ll talk about the illustration, then create art in the style of the book using the illustrator’s tools and techniques. Best for ages 8 and up.

For this program, we’ll make art inspired by There Was a Party for Langston, a Caldecott Honor and Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor book written by Jason Reynolds and illustrated by Jerome Pumphrey and Jarrett Pumphrey.

This event will take place at the Severna Park Library.
