Baygrass is a conservation and community-focused musical event that blends the finest progressive bluegrass, jamgrass and Americana music with a gorgeous beachfront venue, and a mission to protect the Chesapeake Bay and raise mental health awareness.

Baygrass features delicious, locally sourced food, including fresh oysters, microbrews, craft cocktails and wines, beach yoga, music and educational workshops, beach and yard games, kids activities, local craft vendors, an exceptional VIP experience and much more!
ELEVATED FOOD AND DRINK EXPERIENCE
Our goal is to delight your senses through thoughtfully curated food and drinks while taking in spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay and dancing in the sand.
Baygrass features local culinary options, including fresh lump crab cakes, roasted and raw oysters, gourmet BBQ, wood-fired pizzas, and other delicious vegan and vegetarian delicacies.
Enjoy tasty microbrews at the Baytoberfest Beer Garden and fresh craft cocktails, mocktails and wines at the Blue Crab Beach Bar provided by our local and regional beverage partners.

Activities and Games
You could spend all day watching music at Baygrass, for sure, but there are plenty of other activities if your dancing feet need a breather.
Enjoy a game of Cornhole with your friends, or make some new ones at one of the many beach and yard games setup throughout the grounds.
Or, get ready to dance through the night with an amazing beachside yoga session.

MUSICAL AND EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
Under the Baygrass Workshop Pavilion, you could learn how to shuck oysters like a pro, or get some fiddle tips from one of the Baygrass performers. Or maybe you sit in on a Mental Health Workshop, and perhaps learn the proper way to administer Narcan in an emergency.
Perhaps the best parts of the Workshop Pavilion are the intimate interactions with the festival artists. Anyone at Baygrass 2023 who caught Yonder Mountain String Band’s “Life On The Road” talk, or Mimi Naja’s (of Fruition) “Gillian Welch Birthday Tribute” know just how special these moments can be.

A family-friendly festival, Baygrass has plenty to keep the kids busy, while the kid in you is having just as much fun!
With beach games, activities, crafts and workshops in the Kidz Cove, your kids will have a blast. Plus, did we mention there’s a beach?! (no lifeguard on duty – so make sure the little ones are accompanied at all times). And since Baygrass is located at a pristine State Park, we have the benefit of a bathhouse with clean bathrooms, showers and changing rooms to accommodate you and your family for the entire day and night.
