9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance

The Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families will participate in Carry The Load’s 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. The event will begin with a ceremony at 10:00 am.
The nationwide initiative provides an opportunity for individuals, families, and community organizations to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, as well as the service and sacrifices of military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.
