It is finally fun playground weather and one of the best playgrounds in Maryland is only a short drive away – Blandair Regional Park in Columbia and it is anything but bland. The park is divided amongst 3 sections with multiple playgrounds worth visiting. You can hit up the North, East and West areas. There is a Ninja warrior course (East area) which is meant for kids to explore their inner warrior and there is a giant timer in the corner if you want to see how fast you can get through it.
We recently discovered the new North section of the park and it is massive with appropriate fun for all ages. There are multi-level play structures and long slides, nets to climb on and more. There is plenty of parking and restrooms. You could easily spend most of a day here and there are lots of local food options nearby.
