Awesome Con, DC’s pop culture and comic convention, descends on the Walter E. Washington Convention Center March 8-10, 2024. Between the activities and special celebrity guests, this convention promises to have something for everyone during this family-friendly, inclusive (dare we say: fantastic) weekend.

“Badges” (tickets) are still available for Single Day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday), 3 Day, and Premium Badges. Guess what else is incredible? 3 Day Badges for kids (ages 3-10) are only $16. I greatly respect Awesome Con for keeping this event affordable for families!
Awesome Con is home to:
- The Science Fair: an area that explores where science and science fiction meet!
- The Book Fair: an area dedicated to authors and book dragons alike.
- Awesome Con Jr.: an all-ages destination for the next generation of fans
- Pride Alley: a celebration of queer creators and fans curated by GeeksOUT
- Anime Yokocho: a brand new area for all things Anime!
Stars from Daredevil, Star Wars, Josie and the Pussycats, Smallville, Breaking Bad, and more are slated to attend.
The agenda is packed with over a hundred activities at multiple locations within the convention across three days. There is undoubtedly enough to appeal to fans of anything and everything, adults and children alike.
