Play, Shop, Eat, Repeat: What’s New and Coming Soon at Annapolis Mall

July 29, 2025 by Ricky Hartford

There was a time when weekends meant meeting your friends at the Annapolis Mall, splitting a pretzel, and maybe even perfecting your slow-motion walk past the cute store clerk at PacSun. If your childhood had a soundtrack, there’s a good chance it played over the hum of the fountain in the center of the mall. And while a lot has changed, Annapolis Mall continues to evolve, blending the memories you loved with new experiences for families today.

The staples are going strong, including Chick-fil-A, AMC Theatres, lululemon, Free People, Under Armour, Zara, American Eagle, and Victoria’s Secret. However, the mall is getting a major refresh. We’re talking about new experiences, more trendy brands, and plenty of reasons for it to be your family’s favorite hangout (again).

Here’s your sneak peek at all the exciting updates, including what’s recently opened and upcoming attractions you’ll want to mark on your calendar immediately.

Now Open

AG1, Therabody & Anastasia Beverly Hills Vending Machines
Health, recovery, and glam are now just a few buttons away. These vending machines are the first of their kind in the U.S., and they’re parked right next to Lululemon, creating the ultimate athleisure adjacent trifecta. Grab your Supergreens, treat your sore back, and snag some new cosmetics. It’s self-care on the go!

Playseum
Soap making, cupcake decorating, live animals, and over 20 “cityshops” of imaginative fun. It’s like Mr. Rogers and Pinterest teamed up and said, “Let’s make something amazing for families.” Think of it as a 2020s version of Discovery Zone or Chuck E. Cheese. It’s creative, interactive, and fun for everyone.

Pollo Campero
Crispy, juicy, flavor-packed chicken with Latin flair? Yes, please. Think of it as a grown-up version of mall nuggets with the same kid-approved energy. This isn’t your average fried chicken. Located outside The Container Store, this new addition is perfect for a post-shopping refuel (or bribing the kids with dessert).

POP MART ROBO SHOP
Your kids might be obsessed with mini collectibles (Labubu’s), but let’s be honest, you kind of love them too. (No judgment. We all had our Beanie Baby phase.) POP MART brings the cute, quirky, and artistic collectibles straight from Asia to Annapolis. Find these vending machines near Apple and the food court, across from Express.

Coming Soon (and Absolutely Worth the Hype)

Hello Kitty Café Truck – August 16
It’s pink, it’s iconic, and it’s parking at Annapolis Mall. Visit the  Hello Kitty Café Truck to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday and the truck’s 10th tour year. It’s part snack stop, part merch drop, and a can’t-miss for superfans (big and small).

Jolly Yolly Kids – Summer 2025
Mall playdates and rainy-day spots just got a major glow-up. Jolly Yolly is a play and learning center with a multi-level play structure featuring various slides and places to climb. With spaces for babies to tweens, this will be your new go-to for burning off energy in a bright, safe, and clean space (no more questionable ball pit germs). Check it out near Crate & Barrel.

Swarovski – Fall 2025
Crystals for your collection (or just a little well-deserved sparkle). This iconic jewelry brand brings serious glam, perfect for date nights, gifts, or that “I survived summer” reward.

Talbots (New, Larger Location) – November 2025
Classic, chic, and finally roomy enough to browse without apologizing to every mannequin. Talbots is leveling up at Annapolis Mall with a brand-new, larger space. Expect more room, more style, and the same flattering fits you love in sizes for all body types.

Dave & Buster’s – Early 2026
Arcade games, giant TVs, and cocktails? Annapolis Mall is opening an arcade for the whole family, where you can watch the Ravens game while winning races against your kids in Mario Kart. It’s the kind of place where everyone wins, even when you totally lose at Skee-Ball.

DICK’S House of Sport – Fall 2026
Climbing walls, multi-sport cages, golf simulators—oh my! This isn’t just shopping; it’s an indoor adventure. Even the “non-sporty” types will find something to love! Say hello to community events and comfy athleisure.

About Ricky Hartford

Ricky Hartford is fueled by cold brew, Celtics highlights, pop culture, and a perfectly placed Oxford comma. By day, he works in marketing and communications at Anne Arundel Community College, where he helps shape the college’s voice through content and storytelling. With over a decade of experience and a Master of Science in Strategic Communications, he’s helped nonprofits and local publications sound sharper, look better, and connect more clearly with their audiences. When he’s not working, he’s probably at the movies, on the basketball court, planning his next vacation, or convincing someone (anyone) to talk about the latest trashy reality show. Annapolis is his happy place, especially if it involves a drink downtown and hanging out by the water.
