Soccer season is right around the corner! The Annapolis Blues FC recently released its 2025 season schedule, hoping to exceed its 2024 home-game attendance record of 11,171 people. With its new women’s team set to make a debut, the schedule features four doubleheaders (meaning the women’s and men’s teams will play on the same day) at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium.
The Annapolis Blues organization is prepping for the season by centering the community through partnerships. For example, Annapolis Moms Media will be hosting the Kids Zone during the home games while local businesses like Picante, Rise Up, Watermark, Luminus Health, and more sponsor the club. On February 19, representatives from these businesses attended a networking event where the importance of their contributions was highlighted.
“[The Annapolis Blues] is an incredible organization, bringing great soccer to our town, and bringing great events to our town, bringing people together,” said Tom Simmons, a partner with Liff, Walsh & Simmons law firm, to the crowd. “So I’m so grateful for what you guys are doing for the town, and so grateful for all of the other partners in the room that are helping make it possible for this club to be doing all the great things [it’s] doing.”
