If you are making a trip to Ocean City this summer, then definitely make time for an excursion to The Mermaid Museum in Berlin which is only about 20 minutes away. This place is fun for both boys, girls and people of all ages. They present you with a challenge as soon as you arrive, and if you get the answer correct after visiting the museum then your group wins a prize. The space is not huge, but you can spend probably about an hour looking through everything. The highlights are the photo opportunities that they have created. They have a bathtub with a mermaid tail sticking out so that you can climb in and get a picture. They also have a huge clam shell you can sit in and get a picture. They have costumes and crowns to make it even more fun. There is a small gift shop when you leave with all sorts of goodies. This can make for a great rainy day activity. The town of Berlin has a lot to offer. There are a lot of shops, a huge toy store, restaurants, a creamery and more, not to mention, it is a very pretty town.
