5 Great Spots to Watch Football Around Annapolis

September 10, 2026 by Tyler Ingle

Football season is back, and you know what that means: cold drinks, wings, big screens, and plenty of yelling at the TV.

And game day definitely isn’t limited to Sunday. Between college football Saturdays, NFL Sundays, Monday Night Football and Thursday night games, there’s almost always a reason to grab some friends and head out to watch.

Whether you’re cheering for Navy, the Ravens, the Commanders or a team from somewhere a little farther from home, here are five of our favorite places in the Annapolis area to catch the action — plus some of the food and drink specials they’re offering this season.

As always, specials are subject to change. Check with the restaurant or its social media before heading out.

Augie’s Mussel House & Sports Bar

If you want the full sports-bar experience, Augie’s Mussel House & Sports Bar at Annapolis Town Center is an easy choice. Wall-to-wall screens make it hard to miss a play, and there are dart boards and a covered patio when you need a little halftime entertainment.

Their game-day lineup covers both NFL games and college football Saturdays.

Game-day specials include:

  • $22 five-beer buckets of Michelob Ultra, Coors Light or Bud Light
  • $15 five-beer Natty Boh buckets
  • $6 On Your 6 Bourbon shots
  • $4 Old Oriole Park drafts
  • $7 Smirnoff Orange or Key Lime Crushes
  • $5 Purple Pride shots
  • $6 Smirnoff Crushes
  • $10 JD5 cheese fries
  • $9 Flock fried mozzarella
  • $9 Ravens Poppers with celery and carrots
  • $9 six wings, any flavor
  • $10 Commanders chili dogs with chips
  • $12 Burgundy & Bold Burger
  • $17 beer-and-bacon mussels
  • $24 Augie’s Platter

The specials are advertised during all NFL games and Saturdays until 5 p.m.

O’Loughlin’s Restaurant & Pub

Sometimes you just want a neighborhood pub, a cold beer and a good view of the game. O’Loughlin’s Restaurant & Pub in Arnold checks all three boxes.

The longtime local spot has been around since 1986 and serves up a casual, friendly atmosphere that fits right in with football season.

And its NFL specials give you plenty to choose from.

Drink specials:

  • $3.50 Miller Lite, Coors Light, Yuengling and Natty Boh drafts
  • $5 Fiddlehead and Blue Moon drafts
  • $17 domestic beer buckets
  • $25 High Noon and Surfside buckets
  • $5 Atlas Naptown Lager cans

Food specials:

  • $12 cheeseburger or BBQ sliders
  • $11 loaded tater tots
  • $10 specialty egg rolls
  • $16 Buffalo chicken quesadilla
  • $10 soft pretzel with mustard and beer cheese
  • $11 sausage, peppers and onions
  • $9 cauliflower wings

That’s a pretty solid lineup for settling in and staying through the fourth quarter.

JB’s Sports Bar

With a tagline of “Bites. Brews. Ballgames,” JB’s Sports Bar in Severna Park doesn’t exactly hide what it’s good at. It’s a casual sports bar built around catching the game with friends, food and a drink in hand.

JB’s rolled out a lineup of game-day drink specials:

  • 50 cents off domestic bottles
  • $4 16-ounce Natural Light drafts
  • $5 16-ounce select drafts
  • $6 Purple Rain shots
  • $6 Orange Crushes

Those specials were promoted specifically for the NFL kickoff game, so check JB’s social media before you head over to see what’s on tap for that day’s matchup.

Waterman’s Tavern

If your perfect game-day spot is more neighborhood tavern than giant sports bar, Waterman’s Tavern in Edgewater deserves a spot on the list.

It’s casual, laid-back and has the essentials covered: football on TV, pub food and some seriously affordable game-day specials.

NFL game-day specials include:

  • 99-cent bone-in wings
  • $10.95 cheesesteak
  • $10.95 chicken nachos
  • $15 domestic beer buckets

Yes, you read that correctly: 99-cent wings.

Sometimes you really don’t need a more complicated game plan than that.

World of Beer

Beer and football are a pretty natural combination, so World of Beer Annapolis was always going to make this list.

Located near Annapolis Mall, WOB has TVs, a big beer selection and plenty of burgers, wings and shareables for the table. Its Annapolis location specifically lists TVs and group-friendly seating among its amenities.

For football season, one of the biggest draws is:

  • $24.99 beer towers on select beers

And depending on what day your team plays, you may be able to take advantage of some of WOB’s other weekly promotions, too (like their all day happy hour on Thursdays).

Whether you’re catching college football with a group on Saturday or settling in for an NFL game, ordering a giant tower of beer for the table certainly feels appropriately festive.

Still Looking for a Place to Watch?

These five are some of our favorites, but they’re definitely not your only options. Annapolis has plenty of places where you can grab a drink, order some wings and keep an eye on the score.

A few more spots to add to your game-day rotation:

  • West End Sports Bar & Grill — a longtime Annapolis sports bar that regularly shows NFL, college and other major games.
  • Miller’s Ale House – Annapolis — another go-to if you want the classic big-game sports-bar experience.
  • Davis’ Pub — an Eastport favorite with a neighborhood-pub feel.
  • Dark Horse Annapolis — a full-service sports bar and restaurant on Bay Ridge Avenue.
  • Rams Head Tavern — a longtime downtown Annapolis favorite for food, drinks and a lively atmosphere.
  • Stan & Joe’s Saloon — a casual West Street standby with wings, burgers, beer and plenty of local personality.

So grab your jersey, text the group chat and find a table. Whether you’re heading out for a Saturday afternoon college matchup, spending Sunday watching the NFL or squeezing in a weeknight primetime game, there are plenty of places around Annapolis ready for kickoff.
